Mr Wilkes,

I have been told that many circle boats had transoms that were canted (angled infrom top to the bottom) rather than straight down like many drag boats.

Is this true or just an old wives tale?

I just purchased a 73 Schiada 19' V bottom V drive and was told it had been a ski racer. Its' also got a transom that is canted in.

i dont know about all of them but the biesemeyers have a canted transom, one side of the boat is longer than the other (5/8")

Kevin my 76 is the same.
