SS and PS Shootouts at Irvine Regatta this year???

I will check with my friend Dave and see. I don't have a problem with it but here come the problem. Everyone pays 100.00 to play at the V-drive Regatta. Some guys get mad with the K boat event. They say were taking there water time. We do the K boat event because it brings people to the regatta. If we take more time than more people will bitch. I have mentioned to Dave that we should put the k boat event on hold for one year and run another class.
Again I will talk to my partner and see what his ideas are for this year.
