hi jim, i bought a 18' sanger hydro hull. it has a 12 degree casale unit, but no prop shaft strut. would you know what degree strut would work best? it also had a whip strut. the main strut should be steel right? what about the whip? thanks, bill

HEMDOG, contact thewirsboguy, on this site. he just changed his set up over to an outboard steering set up. he has a factory strut that he would probably part with or build you a new one. he could also answer any questions you have. nick

hemdog A little more imformation would help. What model Sanger Hydro do you have! Are you planning to run with 2 people most of the time or is it a center steering Hydro? Most whip struts are made from Aluminum. If you get a custom whip strut made it might be made from 4340 steel.
