We will be there this year!!! Been goin down there and watching for years. But, this will be my first year actually racing. I'll be running a Small block jet. So, ya'll dont be too tuff on the handicapped new guy!!!! LOL

Tim if this is your virgin race, please be sure and hit www.lucasoildragboats.com and read over the rule book before you head to Augusta. There are things that are new, in case your working off last years book. Throttle return springs...need 2. If your a jet guy then be sure and look at that section too. Also your safety equipment like helmet, ballistic shorts (depending on class) life jacket and so on. Hope you have a blast! Go by the Texas Bounty Hunter H20 pit and tell em' Patty sent ya if ya have any questions. Or hunt down Ken Dollar or Henry the head tech guy. Most everyone will be more than willing to help ya ensure you and your ride are ready to go!!!

Hey Jack, This is my first time racing there. But, I understand that there is test and tune on Friday. Qualify sat... and race sun.

That is how it was last year and it was an extra $100 to test on Friday. I am looking on the Augusta flyer:

Thursday
Pits open 8am - until
Registration noon - 5pm

Friday
Registration and Tech 8am - 5pm
Licensing Test 8am
Test & Tune 9am

Saturday
Registration and Tech 8am - 5pm
Qualifying 9am

Sunday
First round 9am
