    Default Street Cars

I know a lot of us have street machines. Would there be any interest for a gathering to do some crusing? The weather is too cold to go boating....lets see your street machine!

Horsepower determines how fast you hit the wall. Torque determines the size of the hole you make.

You guys and your old-school stuff. This drives like stock, and still gets about 28 mpg on the freeway.

Repair estimate was $14,300, so the insurance company decided to total it, since they thought they could get about $8000 as-is at auction.
Bought another one just like it though.

Chet, If we cruise we should meet in the middle. I'll give Harv and Rob a call...I know they have something in the barn..Who else? If we are going to do this we need a time and place. Lets git er done before it is time to break out the boats.

By the way...sweet '70 whats under the lid...I'll show mine if you show yours....LOL

The 70 Chevelle is a BBC 402 runs 12.70s. The 98 Pontiac is a 20 over 3800 supercharged and runs 11.80. We don't actually put the pontiac on the street anymore. Harv has a 33 plymouth and so does "Fast Eddie " Harv also has a 1957 T Bird. I think Rob and Glo have a Classic also. If you can come up with a get together we will try and be there if Scott doesn't have to work. Let us know. I'll call Harv. Chet

Just the everyday type of cars anymore. The Lexus is alright. The Mini is a POS. Has all of the go fast stuff but it is the shits to drive. Torque steer is real bad. Got rid of it.

That's actually only 1/4 of them. Thanks for the nice comment. You guys all have just as nice of rides. I am looking HARD for a '70 Chevelle. That's the only thing I don't have in my collection that I really want in there. I would like a real SS car, but not going to be too picky. I would also like to do a '70 SS 454 WAGON (clone/creation). They never really built one, but guys have done them and they are sweet.

I had no deal you guys were so far away. No location in your signature/avatar area. I assumed you were also in CA!
