Heck yeah, lots of people have driven my boat. Lots more have ridden in it. 75% of the fun is sharing the experience.Someone's first experience with the "tunnel vision" that comes with 100 mph plus on water? Priceless!
"Unchained" gives rides too, and his are bound to be a whole lot more entertaining than mine. They're both V-drive tunnels, but he has about twice my horsepower.
I'm still feeling some guilt about it, but we managed to get my 19-year-old nephew a ride in Nalli's skiff. I told him up front that I wouldn't ever get in that thing (along with flats that go faster than 70), but he was still up for it.
It's not anything about Nalli. I've watched him in boats for 20 plus years, and never seen anything close to a f-up. I wouldn't have done it otherwise. It's something about boats that offer poor forward vision, and spend 50% of the time with zero water contact.![]()

Driving Warp Factor was my first Vdrive corruption. I could'nt believe how nice that boat handled and the accelleration didn't taper off like the jet when you blew past 100.
Then John Haas finished the job when I drove that KB alky hydro.
It was like you were GEARED to the water.
That was exactly 5 years ago to the week.
A jet boat wasn't going to do it for me any more after all that.![]()
lol, i talked to you and ur nephew just after he got out of the skiff, first off i must say hes got big balls for even getting in that thing lol. but he cracked me up, he was still shakin for about a half hour after gettin out of it lol.....no way ur gettin me in that thing, and like you said al can drive the hell outta of it but i agree it spends more time out of the water then in it lol....
