When you tear your Ford down, pay close attention to the main bearings, maybe look into upgrading the oiling system. This is just my opinion and probably a lot of people will say that I'm full of s!@#, however my experiences with 460 fords over the years in boats and 4 wheelers has been that they eat main bearings up and you end up with low oil pressure a lot sooner than BBC's. Every one that I tore out of my wreckers and old lincolns always were down to the copper on the main bearings and had low oil pressure.................... I'm sure there are upgrades. Let's see some pic's !!!
