What gives?!
Here's my little update. I haven't touched the boat besides winterize it as soon as it started getting cold. I'm hoping I can finish the front bulkhead and start building an interior as spring appraoches, but we'll see what else comes up before then.
I was screwing around on Belle Isle last week in the snow and hit a hidden curb with the Lincoln. The axle snapped at the flange, and I busted two wheels on the passenger side. It's my DD so I spent last week in the junkyard and under it repairing the axle and other damage. Time and money out of my pocket; lesson learned.
The snowmobile has been pulled apart since November, and almost ready to go back together for me to sell it. Haven't ridden it at all. Pulled the "reliable" quad out of the garage 2 days ago for a romp around the block...died on the opposite corner of the block from my house and had to push it home.Pulled the carb out and rebuilt it, halfway, still sitting on the bench next to the almost assembled snowmobile motor.
Neighbors' babysitter called the fire dept because they smelled a gas leak. Well the leak is actually the fuel tank in the Lincoln which is at work with me. It leaks during the night and stinks up the block. Dept spent the afternoon nosing around my backyard and my cars. I'm in a nice neighborhood and now I look like a hoodlum.
On the plus side work is keeping me busy and it looks like my contract here is not going to run out anytime in the near future. Lindsey and I both have our health and we're happy together. We took an improptu trip to Nawleans with her cousin and spent New Years getting hammered in the streets, eating amazing food and seeing tittys! I'm hopfully going to ditch two cars and buy one nice one in the coming weeks. Oh, and I'll be attending my first MHB Winter party in a couple weeks, which I hear is THE party of the year.
When they say you're at your lowest, things can only go up from there!![]()
