Michigan Hot Boats Question
I am trying to gather more information about Michigan Hot Boats and details on their trip to Lake Charlevoix this summer June 18th, 2011. Is there a specific spot that the boaters gather? Does anyone give rides to kids/ families? Please let me know how the public can get involved. Thanks!!

Mishelle, Thanks for your interest in Michigan Hot Boats. We have been invited to attend the Jordan Valley Freedom Festival June 18. The boats will launch in East Jordan. We will use the beach area of "Tourist Park" on M-66. That would be the area to view and to ask questions about the boats. To answer your question on "rides"...That would be a big NO for MHB. These are not carnival ride boats. These boats have serious power plants, and we put sweat, time and hard earned money into these watercraft and would not like to have the public crawling on them. It would be the discretion of the boat owner to give a ride. I am pretty sure if you came with a good attitude and respect, asked one of the owners for a ride..you would find yourself with a life jacket and sitting in the seat of one of these high power rockets. I have been in touch with the people setting up the website for this event and giving her graphics, pics and video for info about our club. As soon as she tells me the web address and it's up I will post more info on the event. And as mike stated a good attitude and maybe even a few cold beers just might get ya aboard a boat or 2 but that is up to the owners of the boats. Please come and enjoy the day and have some fun.
I think Michell is Shotgun 19 with an undercover new screen name, better watch it he could show up in a YELLOW Tu Tu and want to sit on your lap for a boatride !!!!!

They are asking us for a Show & Shine at BC Pizza parking lot which is in the middle of all the happings...I have a question....kinda dumb...should we have a bikini contest...bet Chet wants to be a judge

Doing a show and shine at noon on Saturday?? Dont most want to be on the water for Saturday afternoon? It is still a boat meet at a lake. Show and shines are fine for Friday evening but the last thing I want to do Saturday afternoon is sit in a hot parking lot looking at the trailer queens..

This is just tentative..The chamber just posted the event schedule. Don't know why they have us in that parking lot on Sat. I think if they want us to do a show and shine, it should be Fri eve during thier "block party"...so we can partake in the party. I will call the chamber and get them to adjust....Some input would be nice

Talked to the chamber and they will adjust the schedule. Show and shine Fri night @ BC Pizza parking lot..Boats in the water Sat.
