    Default A great party at Marble lake

    What a great party at Marble lake on Saturday the 16th. They had radar runs, drag races, biggest rooster tail events, fastest pontoon boat, best paint schemes and it doesn't end there. Trophies were awarded in all these events. There must have been 50 hot boats and 200 pontoon boats with an exceptional amount of spectaters. The Island, CORN ISLAND as it's now being called, has been cleared and a petting zoo is in place for the kids of all ages. The host and owner of "CORN ISLAND" Dale Walagora, provided hot dogs for everyone. I told him that 20 years ago Al Nali, Kenny Skiver and I came to Marble lake to see what Mid-Michigan hot boats was all about and that we had joined the club. He had Al nad I talk to everyone over the microphone and tell them about it. Music was also provided and everyone seemed to enjoy it. We left about 8:30 and the party was still going on.     Yes, this was definitely a great event! Dale has been very generous with his time and money to make this and other events happen. Can't wait for next year!!
