Ideally I'd like to roll down from Tawas at dawn, spend the night and roll back north in the morning, depending on Mother Huron of course.

Why not start at Vet's in Bay City and have Lunch-Dinner after the run. Plenty of parking for the ones who want to hang out at the launch. Walking distance to Hooters. Vet's is easy to get to and close to a number of hotels. If the ladies want to stay and shop their are alot of unique shops downtown across the river. David what do you think a good start time would be? Never mind the bike but here is a couple pictures at the launch.

I think Vets in Bay City would be really nice! and maybe an 11am start time .. not too early.. thoughts anyone??

I thought about the pig gig crowd too but not being from the area .. I'm not sure where the pig gig is in relation to vets park etc ... maybe that was the initial thought behind the zilwaukee launch.. please keep us posted .. we need to reserve a place to stay once we can get some final details.

With the Pig Gig there are going to be some river sows leaving big wakes too running around.. just fair warning.

Plan B?? Go back to launching from Zilwaukee and head toward Bay City .. Then back ... Or .. just chuck the lunch run idea and go back to Holloway .. wink wink ...

If you guys want to go to Holloway that's cool, all in all considering my foot situation the last place I'm going to be putting it is anywhere near the Saginaw River lol. I did'nt know the pig gig was going down that weekend, running a low profile boat on the river is going to be iffy at best.

if you guys want to go to holloway im in and im sure others are too! I was at the saginaw river last weekend and had a blast! im not too in to country music but it was cool. I have even herd of sara evens! haha!

Has there been a final decision made yet on the details of the meet for the Aug. 5th weekend? We would really like to attend whether it be in Saginaw or Holloway .. we just need to know so we can make some reservations and have a place to stay!
