I have raced there before and would go again but I never know who and what is going to show up to race.
I don't want to travel 2 hrs each way and have there be 5 boats there.

I think that until there is some kind of roll call/sign up in place this will only be a local event.

I've talked to others who have similar concerns.

Ok, lets start a roll call. Short notice but I just found out myself yesterday that there was going to be another race this week. There will also be a roll call on scream and fly.com under forums, general info and there will be the same posting in the general discussion.
There was about 12 nice boats last week.

You just need your basic requirments-vest,floatation device, horn or whistle, etc. we have to put numbers on or boats this week for dnr purposes but everything else goes. You can run any kind of pipes you want, but the stipulation is you can only go from the public access off of wildwood rd. to the sandbar to race. anywhere besides to the sandbar and the access and your free game to the cops for a ticket.

    Default Hey Unchained

I want to go to this one........ there is someone else from our area (that you know) that will be going this Fri. and I was thinking we could all roll down together. That would make 3 v-drives from this area.

Sounds great Tony, Im assuming you know how to get there. If you need directions let me know or here is the quickest way.
69 south to coldwater/us 12 exit head East on US 12 about 6 miles you will come into the town of Quincy, at the light you will turn South on Ray-Quincy rd. and go about 6 miles to wildwood rd. and you will then turn right and follow down right to the boat launch. Sand bar is 2:00 to your right as your standing on the boat ramp. Give me a call if you need anything.

I'm planning on being there too. I'm not able to get out of work until 4 or so though. I'll have the lake boat. Tom

Ok, looks good for me going.
I have a worn out bearing in one turbo and ordered a new center section (cartridge) that I'm supposed to have Friday.
Not a bad deal though, new turbine wheel / shaft and compressor wheel, new bearing housing and seals, Pretty much all the guts new from Garrett
    for $ 435.00.

I got 6 seasons on the original turbo that was a rebuilt old whore to start with, and I wasn't nice to it either.

If the new one doesn't show up I can put the old one back in.
It made plenty of boost but had an internal oil leak and wanted to smoke like an outboard .

Well, the races were a good time. The lake cop showed up late, looked around for a while and left us alone. Lots of good passes made, some close races and no incidents.
