Kustom Kraft Gullwing

There is a 1983 Kustom Kraft gullwing for sale on Hwy 50 about 10 miles outside Lake Geneva is anyone is interested. I stopped and took a look tonight. 454, single carb, bassett thru transoms, Berkley jet with shoe and ride plate. Horrible blue carpet up front. bare floors under motor. Two front seats that are goofy looking with a rear bench, upholstery is junk. One inch stringers. Stringer on driver's side at motor has some delam around the motor mounts, but looks ok at the floor. A couple stress cracks outside, otherwise exterior is decent. Its white with a rub rail and some blue on the transom.

Called the owner, he doesn't know shit about it. Has owned for two years, never had the motor or jet apart. Claims its a full roller motor, didn't know if it was 2 or 4 bolt, head size, etc...I didn't bother to take down numbers to look up at Mortec. Said he doesn't have time for it anymore.

When I asked what it will turn for rpms, he said 4500 all day. According to what I got, that translates for around 350hp down to around 200hp depending on impeller.

He is asking $5000, said $4500 is bottom dollar. If someone could get it for around $3800 it wouldn't be a bad deal. If anyone is interested 262-537-4609. If he doesn't have pics to email and someone is seriously interested, I could stop and shoot a few.

I fired mine up today after I recurved my distribeter and heard it ticking slightly and seemed to miss a little at idle on the passenger side bank, consequently, I proceeded to take the rt cover off and found one lash cap missing on the rt rear exhaust valve................... like a dumb a--, I didn't put a screen kit in my valley when I built it................. going to forget about it and play golf this weekend out of town and come back Monday and start the search for the missing part...................... I cranked it to 6400 on Tues night just before I loaded it.............. The good thing is it still runs, hopefully the thing broke and I can find both halves without tearing the motor down................. Valley screens are definately on the radar if I get out alive on this one................ everybody have a safe weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!
