Yea usually only make it up like twice a year, as you know traffic during the week near Chicago is a nightmare. I am looking to make it up there maybe the 9th of June. I will check my schedule and let you know.

I have an 82 21' Eliminator (just got it about three weeks ago) and have had it out on Lake Michigan for the madien voyage right after we picked it up,,,

Wind Lake out in Racine county and Silver Lake this past weekend with the kids.. They had a blast! ! ! (12, 8, year olds, my girlfriend has a 5 year old.) my Son (12) and I are finishin up the boater saftey course this coming up Thursday, he will be official through the DNR to drive the boat alone. Not that it will happen at all, we don't live on a lake and need to trailer anywhere we go, but we have learned quite a bit by taking the class.

How often do you make it out on Lake Geneva? Got most of the bugs worked out of the boat and that was actually where we were thinking of heading next.. I'm taking off for Texas tomorrow night, but the following weekend hopefully will be an option for us

Working on a front Disc brake conversion kit, trans cooler, new rear leaf springs and a hitch... Gonna be my tow vehicle pretty soon! ! !

It's a 57 Chevy,, the kids and I bought it on eBay about 4 years ago, tore it down and rebuilt pretty much the whole thing. Rebuilt 350, ( got a 383 Stroker motor going in it shortly) sanded it down to bare metal, filled in all the trim holes and re-painted it.

I'll dig up some pictures of the car too and post them..

Funny thing too.. The second time I took the boat out there was an old Quadrajet carb on there when I got it,, took a crap on us in the middle of Wind Lake.. pretty much had to idle all the way back to the dock, and winch it on the trailer.

The next morning after looking around on here for some possible causes.. Figured it was the carb.. So I yanked the edlebrock off the wagon, tossed it on the boat and it fired right up! Tossed the kids in the car and we headed out to Silver lake..

Cool thing is even with 5 of us in the boat, full cooler, all the rest of the gear to go along with us, I gained 10MPH and 800 RPM's at WOT! I'm ordering a new marine version of that carb from CP next week and should have it ready to go shortly!

Thanks Shotgun,, the original color was black with a purple roof and purple flames down the side.. then some idiot, foreign exchange student with no drivers license no insurance swirved to miss a racoon and took out the entire drivers side from the b-pillar to the front of the car.

Ran up to a junk yard near Waupon Wi. found a 4 door sedan and cut the entire side off the car,, brought it back in the back of a pickup truck and started welding away

This was a quick one week sand down, and re-paint. Not the happiest with the flames on there, but they sparkle pretty good in the sunlight, and the kids dig them so I left it alone and got antoher toy!

Thats a good looking rock hunter you have there. LOL Cool looking boat, cool looking car. That will look awsome going down the road together. If you have any questions, dont be affraid to ask them on here. Every one is helpful in every section.

Haven't been out once this year. Both boats are on the disabled list. V-drive should be running next week, but can't take that on Geneva Lake, way too rough. Will be taking it over the Blarneys to see the dragboats races however. My jet needs a set of valve springs and is actually still in storage. Hope to have it going by July 4th.

If you see either of these boats, swing over and say hi.
