Need an air pump for the brake system. Pulled it off Sat. and started the search today. Didn't get very far The company that made it was the Midland Co. in Owosso Mich and I coulden't come up with an address or #. That is my pet project for this week. Called Wieland they are checking also. Anybody you know that has access to air brake compressors ? It is a 1974 GMC.

Dunno, no plans yet, gotta fix the bus first. Only took 1/2 hr. to take it off, easy fix if I can find a pump quick. Rat just e-mailed me a place in Detroit that might have it. Sleek, the one you posted is the wrong one. Thanks for looking. I will post some pic's of the model and #'s and shift into high gear tomorrow on it. I'm thinkin' instead of brats this year maybe a Big pot of Chili and cups, mabe easier for everybody with all their gear on !!!! Of course my wife will make it so don't worry !!!! She kicks out the jams when it comes to that kind of stuff !!!!

I'm thinking four layers of clothes and chilli isn't going to work out very well.

We can do the Brats again or any better suggestions ??? I'm game !!! Now I have a deadline and an achievable little goal !!! I love it here !!!! Helps beat the winter blahs, I just went and hit 200 golf balls down in my basement ( I have a 10 ft. ceiling and a net). Plus worked on the boat a little today, I'm just a warm weather friend, I was switched at birth I was supposed to be a rich So Cal kind of guy !!!!!

O.K. Official Announcement !!!!! The Tip Up Town Bus Trip Will Be Sat. Jan. 23 rd. If anybody wants to ride we have plenty of room and will arrange pick up spots. 1 day outing, will be back in Saginaw between 8 and 11 pm depending on the roads.

I have a 1974 GMC full size bus with a 496 tall deck stroker motor and a 2 speed rear diff with highway gears converted into a party bus, the compressor failed on the brake system it was the origional one. Should have the reman here today !!! I'll Post some pic's next week when I'm back in action !!!!
