Recognize this race site?

Maybe Fox Lake Illinois ??
They have their Drags every Thursday night at Blarneys Island.It is neat thing to see and paricipate in..Big huge week night crowd to see the drag boats. Thy start right the first Thursday after Memorial day and every Thursday evening till Labor day ...

That doesn't look like anywhere I remember from Blarney Island but it would be lots of fun to get a group together and go there once or twice this season. I would be up for that.

It's a great party after the race is done too. I've got lights now so I can stay after dark. First boat in years with lights.
Last time I raced there was 05 and a guy sunk a boat that day.
I ran in the open class and won a couple hun.
A win there doesn't mean much but its great fun.
It costs $ 20. to race and if you're in the open class they give you $ 50. to show up.

I know lots of local OB racers who would probably be up for making the trip too.

Another get together that is fun and costs nothing is the Friday night drags on Marble lake, Coldwater, Mi. if they put it together again. A guy flipped a OB capsule boat last summer there.

doe anybody reconize that guy getting out of the capsule boat.

I'm pretty sure there aren't any races in Momence anymore. Come on over to Litchfield, IL to the SLDBA race. I've never been to one of the Blarney Island deals, but they look like a lot of fun.
