Ding dong ditchers

Some kids have been ding dong ditching my next door neighbor all summer , it was random but lately it has been every saturday night at about 1:30am. We are going to hide out and wait for them tomorrow night. The question is what to do when we catch them. Paintball guns and ass kickings sound like fun, but we'd rather not end up in the slammer until Monday morning if they go crying to their mommies. Best idea we have so far is water hose and ice cold water baloons in a cooler, and that's pretty lame. He rigged a doorbell button with thumbtacks poking thru but dosent want to end up paying for stitches either. They usually park down the street with other kids waiting in the car according to our recon, I think I could sneak up and get a couple shrader valves pulled out while they wait. Give me some good ideas here, ones that won't land me in the county jail for assaulting a minor!

Do not pound on them. I like the well thought out harmless stuff that wont cause any monetary loss. That way you can't get in any trouble. They are not causing any vandalism are they?

Nope no vandalism, we just want to prank them back in a harmless yet ingenious way.

I see a war starting. I like the Tire idea the best. That way they are going to call dad to come and help them with four tires. Then you can tell him what is going on and the troops come home. Unless you like whats going on. Keep us posted on this. This is way funny Troy

Well, did they show?

We waited until 2:30 am and they didn't show. Laying in bed less than ahalf hour later there was a big flash and a loud boom outside not sure if it was some other drunken neighbor lighting m80s at 3 am or if they are using artillery against us. I'm going out now to look in the front yard for ordinance casings. I'll let you know if I find anything

This is kind of funny....I was going to suggest the potato in the tail pipe thing also.
