Question Are you Oklahoma guys doing okay?

    Hi there,

Just wondering if my Oklahoma buddies survived the snow and ice yesterday and last night. Haven't seen many of you post yet and yesterdays radar didn't look good for you. Hope you all still have power and doing alright.

so far so good here . . . im in glenpool 10 min south of tulsa. . . Roads not to slick trees starting to sag (my least favorite part) power hasnt flickered or anything . .. i donth think it will get much worse but it will probably be here for a few days . . .

I got a bunch of stuff i want to do this weekend that the ice will keep me from doing . . .and i got alot of stuff (inside) that i need to do (and dont want to ) that i will probably end up doing b/c of the ice !!!

Supposed to take the daycruiser for carpet in the morning to salvador in ft gibson (45min southeast) but thats pretty much out . .. supposed to stop by muskogee and eat lunch and look at a bunch of harley parts to buy from a buddy (i buy and sale hd parts on the side)

But on the bright side i should get some shop time . . .need to pull the motor out of the stock car (sold the one in it) build the new motor (which every thing is laying there all brand new ready to clean and assemble)

Pull the motor out of the hydro and put it in the daycruiser
pull the motor out of the 57 and pull the pistons and rods out of it and find a new home for them, pull the pitons out of the boat blower motor that is now going to gas flattops and find a new home for them . . . etc etc . . . i got a weeks worth of inside work . . .

Pretty big storm, my vendor in Memphis just called and they are getting slammed. She said they are shutting the city down.

Sounds like your kind of hit and miss down there. Hopefully your power stays on.

Damn Dustin how many projects you try and manage at once. LOL

So the hydro is now going to be blown gas this year? Why did you decide against the blown alcohol deal you were building for it?

Lost power 7:30 thursday evening and didn't get it on till 11:45 today. Was sure glad I have a fire place in the house, didn't get below 65 deg. My generator used 3 gal. of gas running coffee pot frig and two lamps over a 16 hour period. I think I will leave it on the porch till this shit is over, might need it again. Started snowing about an hour ago I guess winter is just showing it's ass again. Sure be glad to see summer get here. Hope everyone else made out better than we did.
