Are you guys still intent on having the regatta the same weekend as Choteau?

It doesnt make a lick of sense. There was and still is plenty of time to reschedule

I'm not ignoring you guys. I'm taking it all in. Like I have said in the past, its the club as a whole decision.

The best thing that I can recommend is to make your concerns heard to the non-internet using members of the OHBA, which is about 75% of the group. Now that the state is out of the way, the date really doesnt matter. I will be more than happy to revisit this at the next meeting.

Thanks for bringing it up again at the next meeting.- I can't make a meeting but the membership owns the decision. And I think the bash is a business decision for the club. And the decision should be the best business wise.

I don't want to be a complainer or start a bashing thread. (pun) I just thought I would ask the club to reconsider. And I didnt know most of the club are not board surfers.

hell . .. most of the club dont even own a boat or leave okmulgee !!! For them its nothing different than a normal weekend . . . just more outtatowners . . . .

I thought it was already a done deal, i see a post recently that asked opinions . . . i dont think its that bad of a deal to do it the same weekend as planned, a small handfull is all that may be missing and heck they may have not came anyways !!! I also think its too late to change now b/c like mentioned your out of towners have already put in for vacations. . . heck i even marked off that week for my vacation . .. that way i have mon-thursday to put a motor of mine out of something that runs into a boat !!!

Also business wise i dont think there is a business . . .
It seems there may be a meat fund jar like there used to be but that should be the only money exchangin hands . . . other than the citations that may be issued and even then you got a few weeks to pay that !!!
