If you don't mind me asking, how much coin is it taking to keep a boat indoors in the Alb. area??
Thanks
It is much cheaper to store it at the elephant butte lake if i remember correctly. If that is the lake you primarily go to it will pay for itself in gas money. No more pulling it 120 miles to get to the lake.
Mr G's I feel has the best units but there are other places that might be cheaper.
Thanks for the info. My problem is i would like to be able to go to EB or Ute or even Santa Rosa for the day so I need it in ABQ. Outdoor uncovered spaces I've seen are $200 a month or more and right now I haven't found and indoor spot long enough for a boat. Most self storage units are up to 20' long and most jet boats are over that. The cold, wind and high altitude sun are killers on upholstery, paint and so called "weather resistant UV resistant boat covers" It sucks that our boating community is so small here our options are very limited.
$200.00 for outside storage? How far do you have to bend over for inside storage? I thought 200.00 would be high for inside storage but for outside, that's nuts. I called a couple of places in town and they told me they price it by the foot and not by the unit. They wanted me to come look at it just to give me a quote which makes absolutely dick sense.

If I find any good news i will post it. Even just a covered outdoor unit would be alright.
Malcoms at 2525 Aztec Rd. 884-1025 has covered storage and indoor storage for less than that.
Great people! Have an old car collection and a good RV workshop and car restoration facilities. Very safe. Located just south of Commanche west of Carlise.

found out Malcoms wants $190 for indoor. heated to 40* in winter, $150 for covered outdoor (there's a waiting list) and i think they said $90 for outdoor.
Just for comparison purposes... I pay around $90/month to store mine indoors at the butte. I think my unit is 33' deep and you have to sign a year long contract.
We pay $60 a month at Buddy's for closed indoor at the Butte for the boat.
I pay $60 a month for a coverd spot for my 40' motor home at Gustins in T or C and $50 a month for the motor home up here at a trailer park.
Like I said I used to keep it at MAlcoms when I did't have the Gustins down south.
The Malcoms are great people and the yard has a huge feence around it with card security.

I pay 36$ a month for an indoor storage at the butte, thats ~12'x36'. Its not heated, and its dirt floor but it is totally inside and enclosed. And mine is a 6month contract.

Power Wagon. Where do you keep it. I'm getting the jet back in the next couple of months from Statkus. Gave up my spot for it at Buddy's. It was a year contract.
Thanks.
