Hotboats near Lubbock?

I'm moving to Lubbock TX. and I'm hoping there are some lakes nearby to run my Hondo flat Any suggestions?

Lake Allen Henry or Ute LAke is not too far away in NM

I dont think ute lake has enough water to have any fun in.Iam down in elephant butte nm water has been real sadly low.Water is low in nm.Just saying.thanx

Ute was only a few feet down from full pool all year
