days&hrs 4 jet boating- Folsom Lake~0~mths ?
What are the best days & hours for jet boating on Folsom Lake on summer months?...when is the water calm and not rough?...on which days do you guys actually go there? I'm kindda new and not so familiar with jet boating cuz from my expereinece is that for a flat bottom hull on Sundays at noon is not the best choice, the water was so choppy...Thx!
Early mornings are probably best for Folsom. Early early, like day light. lol. After the wakeboarders start coming in you're done. Just go drink beer in the 5mph zone. lol.
On the main lake area you are gonna always find chop, by boat or by wind. Go up either of the arms and you'll find some better water. Typically the smaller boats will hang out up north on the west arm between Horseshoe Bar and Rattlesnake Bar. Much better up there. Mornings and Evenings are best water and during the week - weekends are always a mess of humanity out there!
There are ramps up that direction too so you dont have to traverse the crap waters with the ghetto blaster boats to get there....

Weekday evenings after 6-7. Youll never catch me there on a weekend ..... crazy. I only go there after work when its too lake to tow over to cfw.
In a flat bottom, there are much better options not far away.!!
