    Default Camp Far West

What is it with people at the lake, all day yesterday people would park on the ramp in the cove and go out in their boat & leave their truck and trailer sitting in the water or on the dirt ramp, what do people not understand about the sign that says, No Parking between signs, are they Fking Stupid Other people would like to launch also, flame on if you would like.

must be talking about 1/4 mile cove?
was there thurs and friday till dusk, was kinda suprised how low of turnout considering it was the big event?seen lots of open room to launch on both of those days..
was suprised to see lots of peeps either working on there boats or no interest in running them..
was fun to pair up with tim (master sargent) and Pauls black blown sanger bubble deck flat

Know the hardships associated with yard work, with 23 hours of day light up here in Alaska this time of the year the grass grows so fast I have to jump on the riding mower two times a week minimum .... but my boat isn't back on the water yet. I just pretend I'm in the boat ..... makes it a little easier that way

Was this the group that brought in their own sand? Now that is the way to do it, launch when you want with no one in your way that was a great set-up they had.

I forget who said it, but they said that area was supposed to be the "swim area" no boat launching.
Which does make sense since there is a launch ramp around the other side, but if it's not a big holiday weekend it usually is the launch ramp. Other than Hot Boat weekends like Fathers Day, it probably is supposed to be a swim area. lol

They do need to do something though.. Make more camp sites (and clean the shitter's once in a while, they smell all the way across the peninsula), or even make that side of the lake a season pass only section or something. That whole "Get in where you can fit in" shit sucks.!!!
You set up camp next to someone on Thursday, but by sat morning there are 2 more camps squeezed in between. lol

Had an amazing time hanging out on the sandy beach and watching all the boats! Loved meeting the little crew member Justin that told me all about Brians boats, he was a doll! Great Weekend!
