I am new to the jet boat sickness and was wondering who you guys recommend for a good quality shop in the North bay area to rebuild my Berkeley 12JG pump.

Jim at Performance Jet rebuilt my JG a month or so ago. He really knows his stuff, very cool guy, and fair prices.

Performance Jet - Sebastopol, California did my pump in a jet boat I had several years ago and the boat ran 100 with a 540 in it on the GPS, and the pump worked awesome, but I finally lost my puppy balls and bought a flatbottom. The jet boat was faster and very stable, but it didn't make your butthole grab ahold of the seat (applying the booty lock) and the flatty does it every time. CP Performance in Rohnert Park is the Berkley distributor but I am not sure if they do them or not, however they may be able to steer you to the best man for the job depending on what it is you are after. Good luck!
Everything electrical has smoke in it.... and it's not done till you let the smoke out!

Ya I am in CP performance at least a couple times a week!!!. I just bought this boat in july (19' hallett sprint deck) and although it runs good I am only getting 55mph at 5200RPM top speed out of it. Motor is a 460BBF with twin 600 holley's and high rise tunnel ram with OTT Bassett headers. Unfortunately I dont know any horspower numbers but it seems at that rpm I should be getting more speed, so I am thinking possible pump rebuild.

Yep sounds like a rebuild. Any idea what a pump rebuild with impeller replacement costs.

Jim at performance jet does some great work. He did mine! I am hitting high 70s with a stock 460 in my Bahner and his pump. I gained some mph.
