i dont think the guy really cares aslong as he gets it. it wont have a motor in it. how much does he charge?

A dollar a mile isn't bad if that include insurance. The person has to come back. SO it would be about $0.50 a mile.

A good hauler will book a back haul to cover return. I know someone delivering a coupla pickups to AZ soon, he would come out to back haul if you want me to check into it. PM me if interested.

As an ex-trucker we always charged as if there may not be a back haul. It would at least cover the costs of dead-heading.

good point you are right... this guy I am speaking of would use this as his back haul... and he would discount accordingly.
