Is there a link with more info on the jetboat racing. My father is interested in heading up that way.

Here's the link I have. Get to Willow Creek on the 299 and head out the 96 to Hoopa. It pretty much takes over the town, just find a spot on the river to watch.
Is this Rain or Shine?
one more repo and I'm debt free!
Be careful if you decide to go swimming in the Trinity. Always swim with a buddy since there are eddy's and undercurrents that have taken a lot of swimmers down.
I like to start out slow and then taper off.
might go check it out! never have been.

Go see them while you can. Who knows how much longer they will let them do this in Ca. Not many races you can stand at the waters edge while the boats go by 10' away at 100 mph. The mini whacker hydro's are really fun to watch too!
what time does it start? Where's the best place to stand? do you charge to watch? I didn't really see anything on there web page!

Here's a copy of the flyer. Has all the info. Standing on the rive is free. Not sure if the charge for the pit area but I doubt it. Not sure where the best spot is, but I'm sure someone will have an opinion in the pits. I'm going on Saturday with the family.

It was a nice day to watch them tear up the river! I loved seeing the turbine jet rock the river!

I missed it. Ended up sick through the week and had to get caught up with work. Glad to hear it went off and everyone got back on the trailer safe.
