Trim switch not working
Bravo 1 outdrive. Trim switch on the throttle lever. Trim in/down works fine. Trim up/out does not work. Not on this unit but I have changed the trim sending units located on the outdrive. I am not looking forward to that possibility on this drive. Can anyone give me sugestion on what to check, what process to take in a step by step manner such that I might diagnose where the problem is and hopefully avoid the replacing of the sending units.. Thank you very much.. I appreciate any help..
Disconnect the wires under the throttle and jump them together. One is ground, one positive and one negative. First pos. to grnd. Then Neg. to grnd. This will tell you if the switch is bad.
I think trim will go down without oil but not up. Check oil level too.

if im not mistaking there's a couple relays back on or around the trim pump/resevoir one for up and others for down..hope that helps
I call it the brain tube, I've been telling her the more time she spends on it, the smarter it's going to make her.
