Lake Britton

Any of you guys boat at Lake britton..
Im thinking about taking the boat there this weekend..
just curious if you guys been there know of any good camp spots..

Been there a few times, it's small and you mostly see fisherman. Never camped there but when I've gone by the campsites they are always busy due to Burney Falls. I would think that it is going to be REAL full this weekend due to the holiday. The Launch ramp was nice, but I wouldn't race around on the lake much, don't think that the law enforcement would go for it.

I live here, thats where I do all my tuning. Blown with zoomies, friend with blown flat. The county mounty hasn't messed with us, he works 10 to 4 or something like that 5 days including the weekends. The lake is fairly long, not super wide, but wide enough. I launch at the PG&E ramp off of HWY 89 the Falls ramp is pricey not sure about camping anywhere I come home. It's a good lake and this weekend it's probably not that crowded, our Fair is this weekend in McArthur. Be safe.

Cool sounds like fun. its relativly close 1.5 hours.. so the ramp off 89 is free ?
what do they have for water cops ? just the mounty ? not that the boat is loud but just curious.. any specifics there i should check out..

The 89 ramp has a launch fee but that may have ended at the end of summer, they have a camp host there for the summer not sure when the pull out. The mounty is the only LE he is retired out of the bay area not exactly sure of his schedule. He's reasonable. The lake has lots of spots to hang and kick it not any must see for sure. The Falls are nice though. The launch in the park you have to pay to launch and day use its $18 I think. I dont pay at the other the host is an old racer/engine builder
