It's gonna be bad! We are expecting 10" of rain in the next 48 hours and it's warm which means the snowpack will melt. This is the same situation we had with the 1964 floods up here. With the lakes near full already we could get some serious flooding. Keep an eye on the levees!
Sacramento River is running plenty high right now and with the addition of Folsom adding to it, (via the American) it should be creating quite a stir.... Lots of debris cutting loose from the shorelines too.
I dont think Folsom will have any problem topping off in the spring of 2011. 14 feet expected in the Sierras this week!!!!

Looks like they are letting Shasta out as well. It's only 45' down.
