you dont need no stinking map ! lol .. one lil warning . DONT take the quads off the trail you are seen doing it by the patrol and they will fine you .. they are trying to keep the trail open and they are enforcing the boundaries . i have run the Con many times in my jeep i built and seen quads up there now n then .. not real friendly in a few spots but you should make it if its 4x4 which that looks to be . i live up near the rubicon and we usually do night trips in to avoid the crowds that clutter the trail .. its a fun trail if you never been on it before . theres also a few hidden lakes on the way .... Spider lake is a nice swimming hole and if you really like cold water theres Buck Lake / island towards the end of the trail .. theres also another trail up there called Barret lake trail closer to HWY 50 off ice house road .. now that is a beautiful trail and lake and tons of killer hiking spots.1 going to a crashed Military air plane from the late 40's early 50's .. and the lake is to die for .. one of the most beautiful hidden lakes i ever been too .. anyway go for it

Think lake lice, except on the trail. Be careful, and remeber the larger vehicles, Jeeps, Toys, etc. can't move over as easily. We were running a trail in Big Bear in '98 and a group of motorcycles decided they just had to pass, weaving in and out between the Jeeps. We ended up rolling over off into a ravine. My wife's hand was crushed between the roll cage and the granite and we had to be medevac'd. Life would be completely different for us now but for inconsiderate trail lice/ATG's (all terrain geeks). I know you have the right to be there, and I support that - just be careful.

I have done it many times on my polaris 500 4x4 sportsman, bring plenty on water and stay on trail, no vehicle can be more than 25ft from center of trail.

No glass in the ice chest... They end up breaking and shredding ANYTHING else thats in there. (Sammiches, plastic bottles, cans) Makes for a long hard day with nothing to drink due to a couple broken bottles in the ice chest.

X2 for staying on the trail. Also dont forget to HAUL YOUR TRASH OUT WITH YOU...

Have fun and take alot of pictures

    Chris
