Default Take me to SxS School...

I have done a fair amount of reading and know that alot of you guys own a SxS in one form or another. I am looking for a little info that might guide me into the right one for my needs. Now for the requirments/needs.

    - Four+ Seats. Back seat doesn't need to be huge. Enough room for the wife or kids. Men can sit in the front.
    - Would get a set of tracks for the winter. For this reason the more power the better.
    - This would be basically a mountain vehicle. Would see alot of snow. Would also need to be able to get a body for use in the winter.
    - Would get a plow.
    - It would also be a work vehicle. Need to be able to throw a couple bales of hay in the back and drive it out to the pasture. Or pull a small trailer with some hay.

It seems as though a Ranger might fit the bill the best. I also question the mule with a diesel but worry about the suspension and overall fun. Just looking for some advice.

Not to throw you way off, but what is the reason for a sxs? I have Rhino and it's tough when it's cold. For the snow I would be looking at a Jeep or Samarai. Something with doors, windows and a heater. Just my .02

If you do want a sxs, I would think the Ranger or Terx is the only way to go.

The Rhinos are awesome in the snow. Anything over about 1 1/2 foot deep the will not go through unless its packed. I've done a lot of riding with mine in the snow and its great. Hell we've used them to pull out stuck Jeeps a few times.

This is along the lines of what I was thinking. I want something that I can use aroung the farm as well as have some fun on. It would be rather difficult for me or the wife to throw some hay into a jeep and take it out to the pasture or such.

I totally agree, I'm just liking the window/heater feature.

The 4 seater market is about to pop again.
The Commander 4 seater is due, and a higher performance rzr 4 is due.
Rumor has it after January 2011.

Either wait for Can Am 4 seater (latest is 2012 for them-can't get production up on the two seater demand till spring)/wait for a higher power RZR 4 (it will happen), or, if you want it now, grab an 11" RZR 4 and throw a K@T turbo kit/pistons for 4,200 bucks. Dyno proven 80 hp at rear wheels, plenty to have fun with if you want it now.
