very very nice mine is at powder coat right now as soon as i get her put back together ill post some pics. what motor is in yours.
What kind of ET's does your jeep run? My best ET is a 2.88, best mph is 112. I've heard that Minor's jeeps really run well. I assume you'll be there?
Looking forward to going. Will be rooting for the short fuse team.
What time do the races take place? Is it during the day or evening?
That car has a 452 small block. Its never went down the track. The other little black and red one has a 406 best time so far is a 2.950. Its all day sat and sun.![]()
this brings back memories. Back in the early '70's, Larry Minor had a bad azz Bronco (maybe CJ-5) at the dunes at Coos Bay, Oregon. The dual paddles, and the rear engined rails !! HA ! One dude, if I remember right, was a Caddilac dealer in Salem...had a true Gurney/Eagle small block Ford, rear engine rail with the stinger header pipes...sounded like it was hitting 12k rpm.
Love the sand drags....![]()
It's a long story. Short version, I hit the wall almost head on. Now I get to front half the chassis. It really may help me as the car has been going right for a long time. Now we can put it on the chassis jig and make everything exactly square. It will be better than new when it's done. I wanted to repaint the car anyway. Todd, know any good powdercoaters?
Here's a pic of the crash...
