Yeah it wouldnt be too bad for you to get there, if you want to camp out let me know and I'll save you a spot. I'm going to try to do like we did last year and reserve a bunch of spots for the guys that are doing the whole weekend. camping is $20 bucks a night, and this year we are having a live band at the new pavilion the state is building.

working on a few other deals too, the state didnt give us what we want but they did give us a little, so we are going to use what we got to have a large time.

And dont forget about the OHBA summer kickoff cookout May 7th. I know its mothers day but that's what Sunday is for. My baby's momma would rather be at the lake anyway

we'll have a few more things ironed out after the first meeting in March.

that's what i was wondering also was about the baffles, i got three sets of baffles i just need to know which ones to bring, and does okiehoma require water and baffles? or just water or baffles?

HAHAHAHA ok tricky subject b/c there were a few guys ticketed last year during the radar run. I asked the ranger point blank at the meeting and he said " water had to be on all the time OR baffles need to be in" so in the case of jet boats and v-drives baffles must be in if your real loud.

To clarify all of this, I am working woth the state to have them provide the rules of the lake. as many know Okmulgee is a little different with the direction of travel and stuff. As soon I get it from them i will post it for all to see, and it will be handed out to every boater that is participating in our event this year. I really felt like crap that those guys got those tickets, it just puts a dampener on the a good time.

(BTW) he told me he knows i'm not running baffles or water and if he see's me on the lake again without them I'm getting wrote boat bash or not...lol

that's bs, if they're gna enforce the noise laws, they otta know the sob's and carry a db meter to enforce em i would loveeeee to have a cop'r db test my new deal, as im sure it'll be quieter than most inboards and most outboard at idle dont get no bigger muffler than a turbo

I agree dude, but it is what it is. They are so worried about offending the blue hairs that are their CORE customers. I guess 1 person bitchin over rides 70+ boats and well over 100 people enjoying the lake for 1 day in the summer. dont want to turn it into a park bashing thread, I did all that last year. it just is what it is and we still have a large time.

and like I said we are working on some kinda deal for you go fast guys!!
