Meeker 2012

I've been talking to a few guys from the OKC area about having a get together at Meeker lake this year. Would like to try to have it before the OKC race. If youre not familiar with the meeker deal, its a small city owned lake that lets dragboats do their thing. Lanes, racing, zoomies ect.....

There are some down sides, the water is RED, and there isnt any inproved camping sites. RV's would need generators.

Ideas and input are needed.

well i'm fixing to paint my boat so if your gna wash all that red mud off of it than i'll go....hehehe

Well the water is red but the cool factor out weighs the clean up

It probably wont be ideal for everybody. Its not really a cruising around lake. You can see from one end to another from the ramp.

1000ft deal with enough room to shut it down, thats about it

Hell that don't matter, don't you know paint won't stick to anything Fart powered. lol, too much oil film on it.

thats because their soooo fast it blows the paint off, thats why u GM (gods mistake) guys's boats look so nice, hell chevys wont even go fast enough to scratch it when pulling up to the dock............

i'm sure i'll be there as long as my boats done, i gta get it up to ervin to get the pump set back and add the shoe & ride plate, i gna try to get my engine to the machine shop next week
