    Default Frankenspine ....

    This is FRANKENSPINE ....

This is how we hold the mighty 300XS on the War Canoe.

    Battleship designed, it won't break.

Gas tank is wrapped in aluminium bars for support ...

Rear Plate inside the transom ...thru bolted to FRANKENSPINE ties it all together.

    Parker tested ...

So is that basically just an insanely overbuilt sandwich plate kinda deal? Does it tie into the stringers with those 2 braces on the inside or is there more that I'm not seeing?

The gas tank mounts tie to the rear transom inner plate. Everything is tied in. There is a piece that runs the front of the tank which ties both stringers together.

We have broken more than one mounting combinations...this is the final product that has yet to fail.

    Yes indeed !!!

The leverage force is transfered along stringers,

The 19 transom is split, half lower and half upper in the mold

the sandwich and spine, clamp it solid as one.

With twin side mount steering rams. Engine stays where it positioned

The Cougar hull has many more support ribs stock, side to side and fore and aft.

Making for a good Parker300 rough water set up

    Default reasons

Go to 3:40 and see the beating this boat takes, the motor wants to go a different direction than the hull!

Hate to see what a V bottom would do in the same race with all that weight so high up. Snap roll!
