    Default Proper Spark Plug Torques

Anyone know off hand what the proper torque is for the spark plugs on a Merc 2.5? I have always just sinched them down pretty decently but I just got this badass new torque wrench so I figured it would be a good time to try it out.

    Thanks!!

Torque it down. Loosen it. Torque it again. You'll find that there is a different stopping position (tighter) the second time.

I find most plugs not tightened enough. Causes over heating electrodes and drivability problems in a lot of cases. Also plugs blown out of the heads taking the threads and coils with them.
