In Control Foot Throttle part needed

In-Control foot throttle that has been sitting on the shelf for many years is finally getting installed. After looking it over I see I'm missing the adjuster that uses a jam nut to takes the final slack out of my cable. It's a 5/16" threaded on one end and accepts the cable housing on the other end. Anybody know where I can get one of these?

I called Diamond today and there really not ready to start selling In Control Parts. They bought out the In Control inventory and asked me to send them an E-mail explaining just what I needed and after they get everything sorted out and find out what they have they will start answering the many calls they've had.

I decided to go ahead and make the part. I took a 5/16 SS bolt and drilled a hole down through it. Now all I have to do is weld a 1/2 inch sleeve on the top and I think it will work just fine.

FYI, making or rigging parts to work on a foot throttle is a recipe for disaster. If anything happens you will be 110% at fault due to your alteration of a throttle device. I'm just giving you some insight and word of caution as a fellow PB'er i.e...looking out for ya.
