84 sterling marine pickle fork with an 01 merc 200, all comp numbere were at 120 to 130 on stock motor, motor was refreshend 25 hrs ago,has shortend foot with 26 chopper prop but no low water pickup yet. took it for a ride but one thing wrong the jack plate motor was out an stuck in the up position,other that that it got up an ran good for short burst as for what i thought.the guy told me you couldnt run it hard in that position for very long because of not having the low water pickup but with the trim working it would be a different story,hope thats for real. gave 4 gs for the whole deal,dont bash me to hard guys! now heres my? as for the trim motor how do you get the fluid pressure off to let the ram down want to take a look at the electricals,the jack plate is called a cmc power lift?

depending if it's an internal or external pump it's easiest to just crack a line, pics would help. do not run the motor if the plate is stuck in full up position cuz you will fry it.
