    had one of those years ago ,did a bunch of mods to it and ran very well .good priced motor just a little thirsty on fuel these days good luck!!!!TUNNEL T

    Will your current steering system work with that 2.5 mid section?? Are you still going to use that jack plate??

    ya the steering is going to work and going to us a different jack plate.

    not to sure yet, but it wont be hydralic. something similar to a f2 boat.

    I've also had a few of those motors and they are great recreation motors on larger boats (21'+). As TunnelT said though, boy do they suck down the fuel! Just curious as to what F2 boats you are talking about? The tunnel outboard F2/SST120 boats do not run jackplates. The transom assemblys are mounted directly to the transom, and most guys run the transom assembly that has a built in hydraulic vertical up/down which allows about 1" of vertical travel.

    He is referring to an F2 ski race boat. Like this! Sorry for the poor quality pictures.

    Good chance. My dad bought if from a guy up in the bay area, Mike Avila... Boat looked killer when he picked it up nice work.
