    Default Prop Question want some more top end.

    I have a 27" Raysoncraft same hull as Dana. We are running a 502 pretty much stock with a bravo 1.

    Prop is 24 Pitch and with 4 people in with half tank of gas it runs 62mph. @ 5,000rpm's

    I was thinking going to 26P what do you guys think?

    Waste of time, it will drop your RPM's around 200-250,so your motor will probably be making more HP at the 5000 than the 4750.Also your boat will plane a bit slower too, I think your set up is just right as it is, and your speed is correct for that boat.
