SeaSwirl boats

My boss is active with the boy scouts, a family donated a boat to them and said it was valued at Ten Thousand dollars. It is a 2000 seaSwirl 195 with a volvo penta outdrive and a chevy 305 as close as I can tell. It has been sitting outside for quite a while as there is debree inside and the upholstery is rotting. I'm trying to give him an idea of what its worth, I offered 500.00 but the scout leaders think it's worth more. Does anyone on here own one of these boats? What do you think of it

Have you checked the nada value? I know its not always very accurate but maybe a good starting point. Maybe try a Craigslist search and and see what there selling for in similar condition. I would guess $8500 in good running and cosmetic condition.

Thanks I did that this afternoon. seems a perfect boat would be about $11,500 and it goes downhill from there , there is a lot of work to be done so worst case he might get 2200. the trailer is another story in itself. thanks for the direction.
