    Default Fiberglass cracking

What's up performance boats fam? I'm checking out this jet boat, really nice but there is one thing that's keeping me from getting it. In the back where the gas tanks go, the fiberglass is messed up. He said he tried to glass it himself, sat the tanks in and while on the river the tanks moved and popped the fiberglass. Imma post some pics and see if you can give me some feedback. If its fixable and not over the top costly I might consider buying it

grind off the bad stuff, and redo what you need. The battery mount looks delaminated, cut out and replaced, the tank mounts should be grind out as well. The glass needs to be roughed up for the bond in the materials. I see nothing major to speak of, should be able to complete this in an afternoon, no problem.
