Due to $$$ being in high demand but short supply I decided to strip and repaint it my self verses powder cote! I have read some post of others doing the same and they used appliance paint from home depot or Lowes. I found it small bottles with a brush but not in a spray can Does anyone know if comes in a spray can ?

thx for any input,
I got appliance epoxy from Lowes in a spray can. The only warning I would offer is use multiple light coats. If you put it on thick and wet it will not dry.
On the second try:
I stripped mine with aircraft stripper, sanded with 100 grit. Painted it with the epoxy. Let it dry for a week. Wet sanded with 320 painted it again.
It looks as good as a factory pump.
No it is not looking like a autorama powdercoating job.
But anyone that would powdercoat your pump for the $30 I have in supplies on this deal is not someone you want doing it anyway.
The best thing about using the epoxy is you can wetsand and touch up a scratch.
