Your build on here is what got me started. Like the blue and white classic look. Almost a dodgers blue and white. How long did it take you? Thanks for all the photos and tips on your build will be a big help as I go.

Hey Art, Thanks. I used Dupont/Nason Ful-Base base coat Urathane and Dupont/Nason Clear (Base coat /clear coat). It is not the most expensive paint on the market , but it sprayed very nice and seemed to be forgiving I was very happy with the way it turned out, Almost show quality ,if I do say so Myself. The pictures really did not do it justice.

Yeah , all the woodgrain is actually paint . I painted the whole boat the chamagne color that the pinstripes are , then taped the stripes , then did the woodgrain over that , then I painted the blue and cleared the whole boat .

The wood grain looks surreal. That is some skill right there. Blue with it looks awesome.

Here's one of my folks boat, bought off the showroom floor as you see it back in the 70's. Original gel with probably all the flake they had lay'n around the shop sprayed in it. The interior is also original but probably not the best choice unless it stays out of the sun.
