I just read through a most excellent thread that really details the restoration of a boat all the way through: '73 Kona Resto Build II. He pretty much lays out everything you need to do to get a fantastic paint job- sanding, filling, sanding, priming, sanding, painting, sanding, buffing. He also covers a lot of glass work- how to fill extra holes and whatnot that might be useful for you.

    Default paint

x2.....hal does a great job on the work and providing quality tech info. with pics. Also, you might try some of the paint material supplier/mfg. web sites as some of them have tech forums too. good luck with your project.
