i just bought a 20' Omega, underneath the bow there are two areas where the first layer of deck ply (filler?) has been picked away and peeled off. it's probably about an 1/8" of wood missing from these areas is my guess. the glass all around the wood is in great shape.

can i build these areas up with glass mat until i get a good solid repair level with the surrounding glass?

how difficult is it to lay glass upside down? cuz i can't flip this thing over.
