    Default Teflon Coating

I plan on applying a high solids Teflon coating to the bottom of my boat, mainly for abrasion resistance but also for anti-friction. My Continental isn't a racing boat by no means but i'd like to squeeze all the speed i can out of her.

Anyway, does anyone have any experience with Teflon coatings when it comes to application? I am familiar with Teflon materials and understand that this stuff is designed not to stick to ANYTHING. But it has to stick to something or it wouldn't be a "coating". Will this stick to an epoxy primer? At what grit should i scuff?

I would also like to hear any on the water experiences anyone has.

    Thanks
    Scott

Why not speed coat it. Rex Marine carries it. It is a graphite coating.
