    Default replacing wood grain

Can the wood grain on the deck of my 21 foot Centurion Day Cruiser be repaired, it is cracked and checked real bad only on the area where it gets the most sun, possibley redone in gel coat or paint?? Perfer Gel coat if possible, Or should it just be painted brown, I would really like to have the wood grain look again.

I talked to Billy-B about the same thing. He said he is working on the wood look paint job. Check him out. I would like to know how it is coming along as well.
