Default Looking for a big block motor for my jet boat!

I prefer a 427 retangle port 4 bolt main, steel crank... however I am willing to hear what you have!

How about your location and how much of a budget you got to work with???? Might help in sending you in the right direction.

i'm confused...do you want a small block 427 cause those ain't cheap or are you under the impression that the block is actually smaller from 396-496 BBC?
its the stroke of the crank and bore that make the up the size the blocks are all externally the same size from 396-496.

Friend of mine has a 396 short block with a steel crank, dome pistons and not sure what else for $300.00 and I have a set of steel heads that have been ported pretty big I'll sell for $300 if this works for you.
