In Honor of Leon & David Ortemond

It is a great sadness for us all to say goodbye to Leon and David Ortemond. We lost two of our powerboat brothers on Saturday when their 36 Skater crashed on the commercial canal at the Port of Iberia. For those of you who knew them, you surely understand the void and sorrow their absence leaves behind. For those of you who did not, They were pioneers, active participants and ardent supporters to the sport of powerboating and the events surrounding it. They will be missed by us all.


Viewing / Services for Leon & David Ortemond will be at David Funeral Home of Abbeville, LA. beginning on Thursday, April 19, 2012 and Friday, April 20, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum.
